Back to the dating world and a bit skittish so bear with me will ya? Me...45, reformed workaholic who has a very spoiled cat and a living space I truly love. I enjoy many things...dancing, people watching, reading, holding hands, the quiet times when you're with someone special--and nothing needs to be said to make it even more perfect than what it already is! I'm a big girl--I'm not one of those who'll hide it in a picture (you'd find out wouldn't you?) and I'm happy with who I am. And I'd like a partner who's the same way.

You...should be 35 to 45 yrs old, never married, widowed or Divorced only—NOT separated (sorry but I've been down that road...). Definitely a non-smoker (yep...tried that too). A light or non drinker.

I'd like to meet a man knows how to apologize when he’s wrong, and KNOWS how to argue the right way (yes there IS a right way).

St. Louis isn't a big place but it's spread out and I like to go everywhere. I have a car and would prefer that you do as well--particularly a vehicle that runs—all of the time—and if not, has car rental insurance so he can get from point A to B.

Height isn’t an issue, as long as he is comfortable with me wearing heels often. Your height doesn't make you any better or worse than any other guy in my opinion.

Short hair, bald, or well kept dreads—as long as you know what a barber shop, salon or whatever looks like (or if you're lucky enough to be able to do it yourself/have a friend do it).

You should Enjoy traveling, concerts, movies (not just at home), plays, museums—someone who enjoys the arts.

A man with a good sense of humor is VERY important to me. Knowing when something is funny, when something is ignorant and funny, or when something just is plain ole ignorant and not remotely funny isn't hard to do is it? And please--you don't need to try to entertain me--I want to date a man, not a court jester!

Someone who likes to dance—doesn’t necessarily have to be good at it but will try!

Most importantly, I'd like to meet a man who'll be my friend. We all want someone we can depend on and trust, but I want more than that. I would like a guy who doesn't need to decode things, nor do I need a decoder. I say what I mean and mean what I say...always. I'd like to meet a man who's like that too.

Hmm...something simple. Maybe an after dinner happy hour or a Saturday morning coffee...then see where it takes us!
