I love darkly-realistic suspense films, truth-seeking documentaries and adult comedies. I'm not a film student, but I do have my favorite directors (Fincher/Nolan/Apatow) and actors (Walken/Cruise/Bale...).
Musically, I really love Nine Inch Nails, A Perfect Circle, Radiohead, Tool, Soundgarden, Pantera, Lamb of God, Mastodon, and the Deftones. I tend to enjoy any genre of music as long as it's polished, talent-savvy and original. I'm definitely interested in guitar technique, strong voices, live drums and sharp digital programming. Industrial, grunge, heavy alternative, metal, drum & bass, dark electronica, classic rock, soul, jazz, blues and classical (instrumental) music tends to top my list off. I go to concerts for the live talent and original performances - not for redundant rappers/popstars or unnecessary teams of backup dancers.
I moved to Toronto in '01 (for Business Management @ Ryerson U) and have moved around downtown many times, living in my own apartments in recent years.
I currently live in a huge house (NE of College & Bathurst) with my closest hometown friends. We've known each other for 12+ years (since high school). We throw month-end parties, so I'm always up for entertaining others. I love this city.
I used to smoke cigarettes, so I'd like to remain free of that nuisance. I'd prefer to spend time around non- or occasional-smokers. I don't do chemicals (they're bad for you).

I surround myself with like-minded people, who are capable of handling their appetites sanely. I don't preach against drugs, I just know not to abuse them.
LovesI really love meeting women who:
- use
proper English (not thug slang)
- exhibit
good manners- are non-religious
-
take pride in their appearance
- are
honest- have a fun sense of
humour (witty, sarcastic, dry, dead-panned, sick-minded...)
PeevesI steer clear of women who:
- repeat trendy urban slang ("yo"/"for real"/"holla"/"true dat") in casual conversation
- wear Foot Locker and thugged-out apparel
- carry dogs in their purse (as fashion accessories)
- refer to their ex-boyfriends as their "bro"/"cousin"/"cuz"
Discover what it means to
'be yourself' and leave those weak-minded suburban n*gga wannabes behind.
A bit more...I meet thousands of people weekly, so I'm not shy to contact someone I find attractive, articulate and interesting. Don't be shy, either.

Whatever makes us both smile.
Since I live and work in the city, I'd much rather date within Toronto's better downtown areas. Find a booth seat at a nearby lounge and start some conversation. I'd suggest a walk through the Entertainment and Fashion Districts along Queen St West, the Annex & Kensington Market just west of UofT's campus, or along the scenic Harbourfront.
Although I definitely enjoy drinking and dating, I'm not the type who'd always depend on booze to make our time interesting. I love going to concerts, movies and trying out new restaurants.
I know my way around Toronto - do you?
