I'm 28. [I know that's old, eh?]
I've been living in Toronto for 9 years, originally from a small-town on the shores of Lake Huron (3hours NW of Toronto).
My parents are both Indian (Punjabi), yet I was born and raised in Canada.
I speak without using an accent or trendy urban slang. I type/write in complete sentences (even when I txt people). [English is a beautiful language. Why muddy it up?]
I dress to suit my maturity and the coming event. [No jogging pants.]

I really love listening to and learning guitar technique, which would explain my love for hard rock and metal. I'm receptive to any genre of music, although I have my limits (can't stand auto-tuned vocals or thugged-out jibberish in new R&B/hiphop).
I also dig industrial, grunge, drum & bass, dark electronica, classic rock, soul, jazz, blues, old hip hop and classical. Fave bands include NIN, Tool, APC, Deftones, Black Sabbath, Soundgarden, Audioslave, Pink Floyd, Lynrd Skynrd, Radiohead, Massive Attack, Rush and Pantera ... lately I've been enjoying MSTRKRFT, Lamb of God and Mastodon. [Similar taste in music? I hope so.]
I've been playing the acoustic in recent years, although I first learned how to play guitar (rather terribly) on the electric over 10 years ago.

I love watching movies at home (on TMN) and at the theater. I've become fond of HBO Canada for it's worthwhile TV content (Entourage, True Blood, Generation Kill). I really love catching darkly-realistic thrillers, truth-seeking documentaries and adult comedies. Fave directors include Tarantino, Nolan, Fincher .... and more recently Apatow.

Currently I live just northeast of Bathurst & College in a large house with a bunch of my closest hometown friends. I've had my own apartments in previous years, so this is a welcome change of pace.

I don't cater to double-standards or dishonest behaviour.
If I had to sum up what I were looking for in a friend/companion:
- honesty (includes 'volunteering relevant information')
- unique character/style [dorky isn't bad, either]
- great sense of humour
- aesthetic/natural beauty (having good hygiene, being tall and fit are definite +'s)
- ladylike maturity [I'm interested in women, not girls.]

Due to my work, I'm accustomed to meeting thousands of people every week. Certain individuals definitely make a lasting impression.

Just to be clear, I'm attracted to women of all ethnicities. I'm not ashamed to indicate that I have a fondness for those outside my race [Asian, Caucasian, Persian, Jewish, etc..].

Whether I'm busy at work, walking on a busy street, riding the subway, or just checking my POF activity - I'm always interested in meeting someone who makes my life better.

Let's just start with physical attraction and some common interests - we'll go from there.
Love movies? live bands? comedy clubs? cooking exotic food? cracking jokes?

There's a reason why I live and work downtown. I love downtown Toronto. [not the suburbs]
I know my way around this incredible city. I work and play here. Do you? :)
