for a 1st date i would have to go with the whole dinner thing, you may think "thats a bit boring" but no no, there are tons of things that can go wrong in a restaurant, take my advice even if you do not choose to chat to me, 1st date, food every time, if you can cope with a couple of hours of staring at each other making small talk with no other way out other than the occasional ladies (or mens) room break, excluding of course MAJOR emergency that you just have to leave for, that you worked out the code word for, with your mate prior the date, then you can pretty much get alone with this person though most things, at the very least a 2nd date lol
