Okay, a little bit about me... To be honest, I'm a pretty wonderful guy. I am (in no particular order) genuine, attractive, spontaneous, loyal, fun, responsible, sensual, and progressive. I'm introspective but can also be the life of the party. I'm a total sweetheart but don't take any baloney. I can be stubborn at times but (with time to reflect) will apologize and admit if I'm wrong. I get along with people of all races, cultures, and backgrounds. I'm proud to own my own home in East Sac but am going through a case of fix-it-up fatigue. The last decade or so has been a real transition, moving from pro basketball in Italy to graduate school in Indiana to finally a State environmental job here in Sacramento.
What do I like to do for fun, you ask? --riding the bike trail down the American River, dancing in midtown, coffee at Temple Coffeeshop, traveling and experiencing different cultures and customs (the more genuine the experience the better - no Euro-Disney please), hanging in the hammock, soaking in a hot tub, snorkeling, camping, yoga, meditation, basketball, and tennis. I love animals, nature, growing stuff in the garden, and being outside. Recently I've gotten into acting and play a crazy Mafioso (Joey the Butcher) on a local internet series (see promo shot in my pics).

While it's important to share some interests, character and chemistry are more important. I've been told I can be very selective but my thinking is its better to be unattached than poorly matched. Someone who is spontaneous yet responsible, honest, intelligent, and not afraid to laugh at herself (or me). I don't wear my political beliefs on my sleeve, but a long-term relationship with someone politically conservative wouldn't work.
