I try to live my life and try to enjoy and appreciate whatever it brings my way. I surround myself with people who are of like minds. No uptight or overly self-conscious folk. My favorite people are those who have a good sense of humor about themselves and have little issue embarrassing themselves in the name of good fun. That said, I do have at least a couple friends who'd rather die than draw attention to themselves. Ultimately, the people I consider close just want to laugh and make others laugh. Few things in life are more enjoyable. I should also probably mention I'm a huge geek. Most don't see it at first, but give it time... I'll surprise you.


I love listening to a very large variety of music. I especially love live music. Though I do not limit myself to any one kind of music I do listen to a lot of rock, and find much inspiration in socially conscious punk rock. Of course, there are also times when I'm pumping out George Clinton or Gap Band like there isn't any other kind. I'm very open minded to new things.

I want to meet someone who is confident and enjoys who they are. You'll find I am a very non-judgmental person for the most part. I am very much interested in meeting someone who also has some unique interests of their own even if they are not the same as mine. Even if they are super nerdy that is totally ok. As long as you have interests and things you enjoy doing outside of work, you are probably someone who is interesting and can hold a fun conversation. Finally, you gotta have some direction. You don't need to have your dream job, but at least be on some kind of path towards something that can make you happy.

To be really honest, a first date with someone I met online is not going to be the same as if we had already met in person beforehand. Most likely some light, fun, activity like pool or seeing a local band or even just a short meeting for drinks or dessert or some other idea that pops into my head.
