Exercise and healthy food are two lifestyle choices that I value, even if I am still working to be more consistent. More casual and down-to-earth than hip and sophisticated. I am healthy and active. I enjoy biking, scuba and yoga, among other things. Looking to do some travel in the next year or so.

I am very interested in social justice and the environment, and I am looking for someone who has either cultivated an interest in these areas, or is interested in learning. I am politically aware and left leaning. It would be great to meet a woman with similar interests, a special friend to share activities, someone with whom to build trust and intimacy, and who is not afraid to be open, honest and caring.

Time to open our hearts. Communication and trust are so important for a relationship to succeed. I don't have any secrets on how to do that. I know it takes work and effort and I am ready to try with the right woman. I'm looking for something real here...not serial dating.

I enjoy a variety of activities, but I am not someone who thrives on a full social calendar. I enjoy my downtime as well. I am a bit of a home body who enjoys a quiet evening at home. Cooking a nice meal, watching a movie on tv, or the Colbert Report. But there is another part of me that enjoys going out in search of more interesting and stimulating activities. Getting out there and doing stuff is so much more enjoyable in the company of one where there is a mutual attraction.
