About Me
I see no advantage to writing a "self-summary" that will never be read. Worse yet, even if it is indeed read, then I will suffer tremendous loss due to not having the ability to be compensated for my, admittedly, excellent prose. If, for example, there was some way that I could collect a royalty fee for each word that was read, then I might drone on ad infinitum to the glorious benefit of you, my putative readers. However, given this wholly inequitable arrangement, how can I rob myself? In fact, I am compelled to not do so.
As a counter-argument you might say, "But, you are presently at work and already being compensated for your time." Alas, you do not understand. For while it is true that I am being compensated for my time, I would still suffer loss because I would have to put forth both thought and effort to write what would surely be the finest "self-summary" ever composed.
If I may, my beloved, yet improbable, reader, ask you on redirect, why would I expend my most valuable energy to write a mere public profile, when I can read and respond to individuals? Why would I write more than four or five words to the hoi polloi, when I could focus my writings on an object who will surely rebuff my "idiotness" in the same individualized manner that I have grown accustom? I am not inclined to open a new category of "general public rejection" into my life, when the precious, individualized rejection has served me so well, and for so long. However, if you feel that I have wrongly not offered you, my most genteel reader, the opportunity to reject me and my "idoitness," then I assure you that I am no respecter of persons and that I am wholly willing to offer everyone the chance to do so.
