Well, I am a country girl at heart and enjoy the things that come with that, including camping and playing in the mud. I also like going to a bar on occasion and having a couple drinks, but i am not one who enjoys getting hammered; I can make a fool of myself without an abundance of alcohol. I have learned to enjoy going to the gym and getting healthier. I enjoy working out, but would enjoy it more with a workout partner.

There are two important things in my life. The first is my daughter and the second is continuing my education. These two combined with working make things a little tight, but I find time to have fun. I am close with my family and have a soft spot for animals. I'd take in every stray around if I could, but I already have 2 dogs, 3 cats and some fish.
I have a couple tattoos and am looking at getting at least one more. They are small and cute and easily hidden. I don't have any piercings, other than 2 holes in my ears, but I am not opposed to piercings and tattoos.
Being a single mom, "me time" is valuable and I use it to the fullest. If I am not dating anyone, I spend my time studying or with my family. I am learning how to juggle everything, and hope that I can find a guy who is willing to throw himself into the center of the circus. Maybe this is why I am so specific in knowing what I want in a partner and why I don't like playing games or having one night stands.
I enjoy going to the movies, camping, deep sea fishing, going to the local theme parks, taking my dogs to the park and teaching them how to be polite around other dogs. My "vice" if you can call it that is iced tea (I wouldn't be a good Southen girl if it was anything else). Everyone has to have something and since I don't smoke and don't drink much, that is my one thing.

***Yup, no size 2 here, but I am a healthy, attractive woman who has a lot to offer the right man. I can't help but wonder what happened to the days of men who valued intelligence and compassion and reality over silicone, lipo, and wonderbras. It seems like the men who are looking to date are more or less looking for a friends with benefits situation, but nothing permanent. That is not my thing so keep on trucking if you fall into that category. I know what I want out of life and I am not going to settle for less that I deserve and want. Guys, I know not everyone is going to be interested in everyone else, and I can respect that, but at least send a courtesy thanks but no thanks reply. It takes what? 15 seconds to send a reply like that? Ok, stepping down from the soapbox now and returning to normal me. Basically, if you are honetly looking for someone who can keep up with an intelligent conversation and can have a good time (once I get past the shyness) then drop me a line.

A first date really depends on the person and the checmistry, but a couple safe bets are meeting for lunch or the cliche' coffee, maybe even checking out one of the theme parks around here. We can always get back to our kid roots and check out somewhere like Wonderworks or Downtown Disney; nothing breaks the ice like making a giant bubble around your date or enjoying a meal in a rainforest where the animals come alive and a thunderstorm starts every half hour. Please no movies or loud clubs for the first date or 2. Why go on a date when you can't talk because you will disturb others or because the music is too loud to hear each other?
