While I wouldn't go as far as to say that I have a specific "type," I am looking for someone who can appreciate the little things in life... someone I can joke and laugh with, because we all know life's too short to be serious all the time. Race is not important to me at all. I'm very family oriented, and I love children--hence my chosen profession.
I love music, all types with the exception of heavy metal. Sorry; my ears just can't handle it. Education is important in my eyes, but no one ever said it always has to take place while sitting in a desk in a classroom, so feel free to school me. Intelligent conversation moves me.
I've never been the clubbing type, and I'm not really interested in anyone who is. I've put away childish things as they say, and I'm ready to meet mature individuals who have goals.
What else? -- I see myself as a work-in-progress at the moment. I'm attempting to figure out what I want next in life, and once I do, I'll go after it wholeheartedly, just as I've always done in the past.
