Since human beings are far too complex to sum up in an online dating "About Me" box, i'll just shoot off a few adjectives I desire.. some fundamental qualities I will look for in someone which reflect myself-- loyalty, trustworthiness, reliability, cleverness, charm, sociable, perhaps eccentric at times, someone current, with diverse interests, easy-going & spontaneous.

I'm very family and goal oriented/positive & highly spiritual. I'm a huge novel junkie, movie buff, trivia expert, and also an enthusiastic athlete. I love to jam too-- I play 4 instruments & Disc Jockey for a living so I tend to possess quite a creative side. When I'm venting it usually involves my electric guitar or a Nirvana record--yes records as in vinyl LP's, I much prefer them to CD's for many reasons, scratching and authenticity being the top 2 reasons. I am self-employed as a contractor by day and DJ by night, so I guess you could say I'm a pretty career driven individual, but I really love both my jobs and they don't even feel like work sometimes. Since graduating university I've only worked on my own terms, freelancing my skills and ideas rather than seeking standard employment, and could never compromise my freedom to work for anyone else but myself- a promise I made to myself at a very young age, since I was never much for authority.

When I'm not working you'll find me at my writer's desk doodling comics & penning witty editorials, I contribute to some media publications in print and online; that is what I went to school for by the way. Funny how that's the only non-paying gig right now..ahem.

What else you ask?.. I am definitely known as the joker in my circle of friends. I'm always down for a good prank so look-out, I will most likely get you though- even the 3rd, 4th and 5th time.. :P People always say I have a way of making everyone feel comfortable no matter what, even if they've just met me.. I like that.


Why I'm Here..

I have been on several dates with women of little substance or class, my problem is meeting that RIGHT one!! I was never into the 'clubbing/groupie girl' I'm looking for that girl who's downn-to-earth, confident, independant, sweet, and chemistry of course is a must!! I guess the whole package. The girl I can't wait to see at the end of a hard day's night. I know what it is I want & will never settle for less. I am a realist, so casual dating is only what I'm looking for now, and see where it goes from there type of thing. Also, I'm very skeptical of online dating, but hey homelife is effing boring so make do right?



Fast Fun Facts: I'm a lefty, I can dislocate my right shoulder blade, can make that cool water drop sound by flicking my cheek, I am a DJ and spin drum n' bass in Toronto, I breed all sorts of reptiles, was a lead singer for a crumby Indy band in high school (but had a good run of paid gigs), and I will absolutely dismantle you at pool--that's right-- I'm competitive, straight up. :)
