I'm a writer, challenged by divinity, and crafted through chaos. My father Loki brought me up well and told me to dine well even amidst the handful of mortals that would bring daggers to the table. Amongst my wordcraft, I am but a fable, living and breathing and inspiring others to follow suite into the grand scheme of my own desires. Through my ire I'll tell you the tale of a brash man who eagerly seeks to become a lustrous pearl amongst the sea of sharks.

On his day of birth Sept 13th 1987, a great sea erupted and tsunamis broke loose on the once deserted plains of Arizona. The seas only lasted for a few moments but through the ebb and flow of this great ocean came a basket with a fire burning bright within it. Two mortals, a man and his wife, picked up this basket and found inside a child. They had been wanting a child for a long time and it seemed that the gods had answered their prayers. Within the manger they found a note written in only the purest of gold. It was from Odin, the sons father, and Odin had dubbed his son, Ashton.

Through his younger years, Ashton had shown many signs of his godlike stature through the games. Track and field was his forte, music his inspiration, and the craft was his addiction. Many foes had challenged the young lad, and through the trials and tribulations, Ashton had persisted and continuously succeeded. So much was the stress of the games though, that the young man had retired from it by the patron years of his seniority at a place the mortals called High School. When Odin wrote to him asking why he had dropped his divine racing gifts, Ashton had replied that the game of racing had grown old to him, and that music was the new desire that he wanted to pursue. Odin, infuriated by the decision, crafted a curse that would forever alter the life of his son.

Later down the line, Ashton had grown fond of a young woman, and they were to live together by the countryside. All of the peasants in phoenix arizona were happy, but Odin still writhed with anger. Odin had crafted a poison that would kill Ashton, and sent it in the form of another man.This new man came into Ashton's life as an awesome friend, and slowly drew Ashton's fair maiden away from him until she was no more. This left our poor hero horridly downtrodden, and he began to wither.

Many moons passed by and Ashton laid on his dying breath, Odin's poison had worked. As Ashton reached into the heavens looking back at the memories of his forgotten life, his soul began to ascend. Then, suddenly, Zeus of Mount Olympus sent an axiomatic bolt of lightning that sparked life back into Ashton and woke him up. He said to his child, it is not yet your time, many woman have you yet to meet, you can not go now. Ashton attempted to argue with the divine being but Zeus just wouldn't have it. Zeus told Ashton you must fight and continue to carry on, you're a powerful man and you can create the world you wish! Ashton shook his head as a sure acceptance of the god's words, and his life began to look up.

Many months have passed since the incident of the poisoning and many times has Ashton sipped from it's forbidden cup, but he continues to carry on, stronger than ever, making friends wherever he goes and keeping his eyes peeled for his most cherished of ladies.

The story could go on and on, but as they say, the rest, is history.

First dates, a powerful observation and meeting. My first date would usually include dinner and a movie, however, I've learned that I enjoy this much more. So, the meeting commences as I pick her up at her place. A few laughs and small talk to get the mood comfortable ensues as we take off to the movies. The movie doesn't allow for much talking, it does however, allow that awkward "we just met" feeling to go away and creates a great atmosphere for discussion afterwards. Well, we get out of the movies and start walking, not back to the car, just around the city area while we chat it up about the movie, life, things we like to do etc. Both listening and getting to know each other much more intently. It's become much more wonderful by this point if the dates went well and we may even be holding hands and giggling at even non-funny things ;). The talk would commence until we headed back to her place for the drop off which may or may not involve a kiss dependent on mood and if the intensity it right.
