About Me
The bar scene sucks. Online dating sucks. Online dating is the lesser of two evils, so this is how I've decided to find a lady; and I'm not using the term as a generalization. I really DO want a lady.
For those of you who made it this far, you either agree with what I said above, you like my bluntness, or you're just overall intrigued. What do I want in a relationship? Companionship, intellectual conversation, romance, and marriage. I want someone who I can be there for; I need someone who can help me just as much as I can help them, and who's open to it. Think of it as your "perfect" definition of a relationship that leads to marriage.
About you, ideally: You're attractive, intelligent (college degree NOT required), likes to do things, likes to cuddle and be close. You like movies and staying in at night, mostly. You can have intelligent conversation about pretty much anything without being overbearing about it. You like foot massages and body massages, even if they're bad. You're honest, and maybe a little blunt, but you give feedback.
About me: I'm honest, and sometimes blunt. I look like a rather well-known actor, with a little bit o' pudge in the middle. You can see my list of interests already. I'm intelligent, and I'm extremely open about who I am; the good, the bad, and the ugly. I drink a little bit, but I don't drink much or very often, nor do I find it to be a vice in my life. I do maintenance, but I'm not a janitor; instead, I fix things.
I have a different perception on a lot of generally used terms that I absolutely abhore. Terms such as "nice," "bettering yourself," and "love." I have a completely different definition for each of these terms, and more, that will probably drive the average person mad, but you might agree with them, if we were to sit down and talk about them. This is who I am; I generally go against everything that the average person does in life; from elementary school to college to relationships to death. Most things are opposite from what the general population thinks.
If you've made it this far, you either have a lot of time on your hands, are really bored, or really interested in what I have to say. If the latter is how you responded, you might work for me. If you're intelligent, you may have even decided that most of this post is bogus and meant to scare people away. Only part of that's true. It's all true, and it's meant to scare people away. I don't expect a lot of messages with this post, but I'm not looking to win the favor of every girl out there, and I'm not just looking for some action. In fact, I may even get a message or two that say something along the lines of "You're an ass," which is true to a degree, but it's a little bit of who I am, too.
I know this is long in comparison to the average guy, but I'm not the average guy.
First Date
The first date is really about getting to know the other person. Anything that allows one-on-one time for a first date is good. Going out to get a meal, just sitting in a restaurant, walking around town, maybe getting some ice cream; just something that allows strong conversation between the two of us.
