The headline really has nothing to do with anything. It just kinda expresses my lightheartedness.

I'm 26, a teacher, and I love learning. I'm always looking for some new hobby to learn about or occupy my time/interests. I guess you could say I'm transient (not with people though). I like to read some, exercise a fair amount, practice martial arts, write music or stories when the muse hits, among other things. Occasionally I smoke a little hookah or get a tattoo. BTW I don't smoke cigarettes, and wouldn't smoke hookah around someone who doesn't like it.

I'm just looking for someone who is laid back like me, friendly, and won't cause drama. Hopefully that's not too much to ask.

In a perfect world, I'd like to find someone to date seriously here. I'm most interested in anyone willing to go long term (if things progress). I feel I'm a little old to be messing around with relationships that I know are not going anywhere, or are purely physical. I need substance in my relationships.

I'm secure with my place in life right now, so if I find someone, that's cool. If not, that's cool too. Insecurity IS a deal breaker IMO.

I'm fairly simple, and a believer that the first date should be used as a jumping off point to get to know the other person.

So anything that allows for lots of talking is usually good. A bar or some restaurant that has a bar is usually good. I prefer to avoid concerts or movies on the first date since those two things don't allow for much communication.
Hell if you're the type that enjoys cars, MMA, or literature (or any combination of the three) we can always just kill some time drinking coffee and bullshitting about whatever. It's all good.
