I am looking for "The One" (and, only one) truly Special Classy Life Partner... someone who loves to be treasured, adored, and understood. I am one of those hopelessly romantic Cowboy-Types... and, I speak, and write, and live passionately and completely... but, can pack a lot of passion into a few meaningful words.

By Profession... I have spent the last 25 years as a Business Executive within the
Construction Industry, or Value-Added Wood Products Industries... President, VP, GM, PM, OM, etc... although I can build you a $180,000 Kitchen or $120,000 Bathroom, with my own hands... enjoying both the theoretical and practical acumen.

One Client once commented that I "possessed superior handskills", though... and, yes, I DID blush, a tad...)

For a hobby, I'm a Wilderness Canoeist and a staunch protector of our Wilds and Environment, but I am a Harmony-Guy, rather than an Activist or Militant. I try to set an example, quietly. I restore ancient Anishnabae Nastawgan (Canoe Routes, Overland Trails), and
I work to reforest/protect our remaining wilderness, and urban greenspaces.

There are very few sporting activities that I havent participated or competed in, and I have travelled extensively and experienced many different cultures... ours is indeed a wonderful world, and I would very much wish to experience even more of it with my new future Best Friend.

I am turned-off by narcissism, materialism, subterfuge, and diabolical intent.
Personal wealth has little value to me... "enough is a feast"... I just need "Real".

Athletics at the National/International level has taught me many lessons, particularly the lesson that dedication, desire, personal will, regular training, and passion will lead to success.

Similarly, I've always chosen to be a Lover, Not a Fighter... and like Athletics, this personal choice and dedicated focus has turned me into a "Lousy Fighter"... hehe.

Traditionally, I notice I have been most attracted to Entrepreneurial Women, I guess.
Perhaps that is because we mutually understand "what it takes" to design the excellence our minds envision? I have also noticed, however, that independant lives enable the "taking of time for eachother" or "pleasureful pursuits" as the whim strikes. (Occupational Hazard)

I am hopeful of meeting someone very special here... someone warm, and sincere, and loving, and true, and Real... ages 28-45 preferrably.

Hopefully, that is you, and we will find eachother, finally.

Secondly, although I am, by Nature, a MASSIVELY Giving Person, that doesnt necessarily mean I was looking for a Massively Taking Person.
Sneaking in to attempt to steal my jewellry while I am busy BBQ-ing you a wonderful meal, is very likely ALWAYS gonna be a "Deal-Breaker"...

Third, I dont respect someone who gives their word... just those who keep their word.

Finally, I have managed to survive my Life thus far, adhering to my Fundamental Principles, which are:

Honesty
Truth (Yes, that is a completely distinct Principle from Honesty)
Trust
Faith
Fidelity
and... tada... respect for the Privacy of our Private Relationship.

I cannot, shall not, ever, live outside of these tenets.

It would be fair, then, to assume that i am looking for someone who actually shares these same Principles, and doesnt find it a particular hardship to Respect them... Honour them... you know... maybe show similar values and integrities?)

Body Type... Although one never-says-never, I am normally attracted to the fit, trim, and toned. I have noticed that POF has a categorization called "A few extra pounds", and I tend to think that that category enables plenty of wiggle room for most folks? No? Please do not attempt to convince me you are "Athletic" or "Average", if another category has a "better fit". (See "Honesty" Concept above?)

I've always wanted to learn to horseback ride... but, I have never really had the proper opportunity or exposure... I'll do it someday... perhaps soon. I'd love to try diving again, someday soon as well.

I love flying (was born on an airport) so, perhaps a gliding adventure?

Or, a slow paddle on the Canal (or the Rideau) in my canoe... picnicbasket?
