Hey there. My name's Dustin and I am here to make friends first and foremost. I have been out of the closet for just over a year now, since I was 19, and I love it. It's the best feeling, the feeling of being able to be yourself around your own friends and the feeling of being able to express yourself without fear. I definitely recommend it, but you need to do it on your own terms and when you feel the time is right.
I'm attending BCIT right now. I am in the Computer Information Systems Technician program, starting my second year this September. I absolutely love it, but am pretty certain I will graduate with ulcers from all the stress BCIT dumps on its students. It's crazy, but apparently all worth it in the end. I sure hope so!
What do I do on my free time? Well, like many people I love to watch movies and a few select TV shows. I enjoy comedies and horror flicks the best. :) I also enjoy other things like catching up on current affairs around our own nation and around the world. I also love reading and learning about technology and how it impacts our lives on this planet, I really find it interesting. Speaking of reading, I enjoy that too but haven't done so in a long time because of school. I'm going to need to get a few good books for the summer here. Steven King is my favourite author as I love scary books and ones which play around with your mind. Mysteries are good too.
So as I mentioned above, I am here for friends first and foremost. But I also realize life throws curve-balls every now and then. I concider myself a very open-minded guy, so I don't really have any expectations except for the basics. I do, however, really want someone with a great sense of humour to be by my side. I love to laugh and make others laugh too, so having someone share in that is important to me.
Well I feel like I've written too much already, so I'll stop there. If you've read this far, I guess your looking for a friendship too, am I right?
