It's true what my title says. I can walk faster than most people can sprint but, I can only maintain it for a few seconds. Impressed? No? Well, how about this ... I make a mean peanut butter and jam sandwich. Those are my superpowers. And there's more, but I don't want to brag.
I have a fascination with old things - old buildings, houses, music, movies and people. And, I like watching things grow which is ironic because the only plant in my apartment is a fake cactus. But that will change. I picture myself in my own big glass greenhouse one day making little snips here and there on rare plants like Mr. Miyagi.
I know and like a lot of “type A” people, but I identify much more with people for whom waking up in the morning is an agonizing process that takes a few hours. When a woman has a sense of her own style, I find that really attractive. I think the self awareness part is what makes that so appealing. I prefer mellow places with atmosphere to noisy, crowded bars (with exceptions).
My hope for everyone is that they are able to pursue what interests them. On that note, I’ve been fairly wrapped up in a grad program for a while and it won’t be over for another couple semesters. So, I don't have a lot of free time on my hands –(see fake cactus). I don't have expectations for what I'll find here. I like the thought of making a new friend who wants to go out and have fun or just be low key in each others company. Anyway, feel free to say Hi.
