What's missing in your life? I know the answer for mine -- companionship. But I'm picky so it will take a special woman to fill the bill. I prefer the company of a woman who is strong, intelligent, independent, educated, imaginative, sensual, doesn't mind being the epicenter of my attentions, and gives as good as she gets. She enjoys a good plot in a mystery, a movie with a good story line and acting, theater, a range of music, conversation, and life. She is discreet and d/d free. I'm sexually monogamous and only interested in having an ongoing relationship with one woman -- definitely not into one-nighters. Too much drama!

But this part is supposed to be a self-description so here goes. I'm a well-educated, d/d-free professional with eclectic musical tastes and an interest in good mysteries, off-beat non-fiction, and all things Irish. I'm the family genealogist, too. I enjoy Persian cuisine and healthy eating but can, sadly, fall into fried chicken and pizza with ease. I love my work, but it doesn't consume me. I've always kept my personal life close to the vest so, although I have a large circle of friends, very few of them would qualify as "close." Finally, thanks to a very good gene pool, I don't look my age. Thanks to raising a son late in life, I don't act it, either (LOL). Enough .. if you want to know anything else, feel free to ask :)

This should be a time and place for both of us to be at ease and find our chemistry so anything from a cup of coffee to a walk on the beach to an afternoon at the zoo would be fine. Anything more private or more personal can come later.
