All i'm really looking for is a break in the same ol' same ol'...kinda tired of scoping the shores for agates and other interesting flotsam alone, even though my crazy, symbiotic relationship with Lake Superior is enough to soothe the savage beast on any given day. I believe laughter is essential and the brain is the forgotten erogenous zone (stimulate my mind and the rest soon follows), that attraction has little to do with physical appearance and, to quote Crash Davis (see "Bull Durham"), i believe in long, slow, deep, wet, soft kisses that last for three days (though i don't pretend to know who Susan Sontag is). We'd meet at a casual restaurant or coffee shop, let's just say the Anchor Bar for the best burgers and hand cut fries for miles around. Maybe order a Dos Equs or margarita. Talk about everything and nothing as we enjoy a few tunes picked from the jukebox. After, a little ride up the shore to Brighton Beach (ask me somewhere down the road why i gravitate to that little stone building often...)or a stroll through Canal Park and up the Lakewalk. In a perfect world, we have charmed the socks off each other and steal a kiss or two as the sun sets or the full moon rises or a storm starts to brew over the Lake, but nothing's perfect...so I'm just hoping to spend some pleasant time and have some fun while we're at it. Other options include (but are not limited to) a good movie with butter soaked popcorn or a rousing game of Scrabble with suitable wagers to make it that much more interesting. Of course, i'm open to any and all ideas you may have...surprise me!
