I like so many of my friends am not a Colorado Native! I moved out here 6 years ago from Minnesota. I have traveled all over the country and though there are places that I would like to live someday, I really enjoy all that Colorado has to offer! I spent a lot of time in my younger years traveling to see music and just enjoying life and am just now figuring out what I want to do career wise. I worked 8 years with mentally and physically handicapped adults and now I work with animals. I am thinking of returning to school for non-profit management and hopefully one day opening my own no-kill shelter. I am not someone who is driven by money, so if that is your thing or if having a degree is something that really matters in meeting a friend/dating, then I am not for you! I am very independent, sarcastic, and at times brutally honest! I sold my car three years ago and bought a motorcycle(which I ride year round). I have been vegetarian for 14 years now and have no plans of ever returning to the world of eating meat! Music is a major part of who I am and I like to think that I am pretty eclectic with my tastes(I like nearly all genres, but not every artist within' them)! I have 4 dogs who are kind of like my children, but I would really like to make some new acquaintances that will hopefully lead into new friendships and possibly more! Any good relationship starts as a friendship! Thank you for reading my banter and enjoy your summer!

It's hard to say...it seems so many people on here are wrapped up in the whole "American Dream" or the idea that money/education/career brings happiness...I am becoming somewhat disillusioned with the whole POF experience!
