On the first date we would goto dinner, but first we will goto the bar in the resturant for a drink or two and talk. The first date to me is where we get to know each other, see what makes each other click. After dinner, we will see how things are going, if things are going good we will go somewhere else for drinks and more talking. I could never understand why people would goto the movies on the first date, you can't see each other cause it is dark, and you can't talk, so what is the sense of going to the movies on date #1?
