I am a mother of 2 . Was M 24 yrs. I am 5'4" and weigh 125 lbs, blue eyes, light brown hair. Hope to one day find the man that is perfect for me, & vice versa, someone that does special things for me bec I like to do the same for the person I care for, nothing expensive, just thoughtful things. I have been divorced for just over a year now , after 24 yrs. marriage. I didn't choose the divorce but I am sure determined to make the best of it. The good thing is the kids say they are happier now that their Dad has left , it's good that they are happier but sad that they feel that way. It is nice though not walking on eggshells anymore . He was a good man for a very long time but I guess some people go through a mid life crisis and change DRASTICALLY . Anyway I feel like I have been reborn, except I have looked at my faults and what I don't want out of life I am ahead of the game. I'm not a nieve kid anymore. I do still believe in happily ever after , but no one should settle in hopes of having someone for life.I'm sure there are good men and women in this world that think that way, believe in monogamy , believe in devloping trust in order to get to that wonderful emotional and physical relationship . The first thing though has to be physicical attraction. We all know it and it's not being rude to say so. Some people like red heads , some blonds , some tall , some short , some thin some heavy . We all have our preferences . So the first thing is to find someone that you are attracted too and for them to be attracted to you, then of course you want to talk, to see if you have the same beliefs and values , sense of humor etc. These things are not easy to find but to me it is better then when I was young, it's more fun but just as exciting , when the butterflies get to fluttering . So I'm being cautious and looking . I am hoping to have a career again after being a stay at home Mom . I wouldn't have traded that time for any amount of money and I do thank my Ex. for taking care of bringing in the money while I made sure the kids needs were met , his needs were met, bills paid and the house was taken care of.I started a new job in Jan, not the one I was hoping for, but one that I thought would provide room for advancement in the future, turns out it isn't, so while I work there I hope to find something closer to home and more for me.. I am taking my life one step at a time and even though like I said I wouldn't have ever chose divorce, I am choosing to turn it into something positive.

A first date would be coffee and dessert or going out to dinner . Actually one of my favorite first dates was going to dinner and then bowling ,it was something neither of us had done in years. We both stunk but we had a blast laughing at ourselves . No bars .
