Hi.
Well I will start off by saying I have been a member here for quite a while and whilst I have made one or two very good friend on the whole this place is pretty sole (a little play on the fishy theme) destroying so hats off to those who stay for a while,if I were looking for love then I would be pretty depressed by now.

I love the south coast,I have been here for 17yrs and can think of no better place in the country to be.

I have reached a point where I love my life and don't plan on changing things,hopefully just enrich it with new friends.

Music is a major part of my life,I was a professional drummer for several years and also a drum sgt in a Scottish pipe band(don't laugh,it was great fun and the pipe band groupies were gorgeous).I have played all types of music and really enjoyed that stage in life.

I used to work in textile design at the uni of Brighton but retired early from there,I miss the banter with colleagues and students but really hated the way education was going (bums on seats and fee's)so quite glad to have moved on.

I now restore violins and guitars plus if you have a sewing machine needs fixing give me a shout.

I have happened upon this site by chance when looking up some info on Eastbourne(I was looking up fishing info,honest),I thought it could be fun to hear from some locals or further afield.

I am a very easygoing person and love a good chat so get in touch and we may find we have things in common or a least have a laugh, things in common will most definately not include football,dislike the game,cringe when I see Brits abroad on summer hols,or in this country, and theres the 40 something Dad and the sons wearing football shirts WTF,I just said I was easy going and I've just gone off on one,oh well easy going but detest football therefore have very little in common with those who follow it.



Oh and just as an afterthought,I'm afraid I don't do cheesy mushy testimonials saying you are the greatest person I have ever met in my life,jeez blokes get a bloody grip,you've only seen a blurry pic which may or may not actually be a pic of the person in the profile and you've had a couple of IM chats,how can you come out with such a stupid bloody statement.I do think anyone making such statements should be regarded as a possible stalker and blocked from contacting you further before you need a restraining order.

Well if we get along chatting I would not be averse to a friendly meet at a seafront coffee bar in Brighton marina,not too noisy but with a nice friendly atmosphere then perhaps if we wanted to chat longer hop into the bar next door for a drink.
