Hi. I'm new to Austin. I'm hoping to meet someone to go out with and enjoy some local color. I'm a polsci major and most would classify me as a liberal and a progressive. I enjoy hanging out with my friends, going downtown for concerts, and taking long drives into the hill country.
I like indy music, punk, ambient, electronica, and most hip-hop. Music is a big part of my life considering I have no musical talent of my own. I am rarely without my ipod when I'm in public. Chances are my music collection is bigger than yours. I'm super laid back and it generally takes a lot of effort to get on my bad side. I have a sardonic sense of humor and people seem to think I'm funny. I'm also impulsive. I frequently decide on the spot to change my routine. It's not uncommon for me to wake up at 8 or 9 in the morning and decide it's time to take a day trip. It's a big wide world and we can't spend our short existences on it stuck in a rut.
I want to meet someone who also considers themselves laid back and outgoing. If you're not outgoing, at least be willing to try. If you have a sense of humor and you'd like to enjoy the many diversions Austin has to offer then we should talk.

I'm an agnostic. I'm pro-choice. It seems important to mention, at least in Austin, that I'm not a vegetarian. I love chicken too much to give up on it. Sorry cute and single PETA volunteers. :(

First Date
I'm a big believer in discussion and getting to know someone on a first date so we could head down to the museum of art. Afterwards, we could walk around in the downtown area getting to know one another possibly stopping somewhere along the way for a drink. Austin's a big city and after drinks it affords us a lot of options. There's always more to see as we walk the streets of downtown, we could take in a comedy show, sit at a cafe and people watch, or head down to the park to talk and enjoy the scenery. I'm open to suggestions.
