I live in Beautiful Ventura CA., but would love to explore all the other states and experience all four seasons. I have not had a "carefree" life and have had to stick to the business of raising my two daughters alone from the time my husband passed in 1976. I was hesitant to let a man into my life after his passing. I have had some really wonderful times and then some very mournful times - my oldest daughter passed away when she was 28 with Polysistic Kidneys - the same disease that my husband had, which is hereditary.
I have a "little rogue" in me and am not interested in knitting, sewing, card games, or the Senior Center activities. I would be more interested in going to a concert, opera, play, motorcycle ride, not into big crowds or having tons of friends. I would be happy and content with a guy I could respect, admire, trust, have great charisma with and feel totally accepted by. I know I am (as they say) nice looking for my age, and would enjoy a man who is not expecting a lady to still wear a bekini or short shorts. I would enjoy learning tennis, golf and all outdoor activities - I am not going to tackle skiing, snowboarding, or water polo, however. I love holding hands, showing affection (when appropriate) and just spending time together, I am not a "give me" person. I am very happy going fifty-fifty. However, a real man in my eyes would not allow me to pay for dinner or etc.When I meet a man I look for the sparkle in their eyes, the "eyes" have it. I hope I don't sound too "glum" but that's how I "roll" Hope to hear from you even if you are not "into" me but just want to talk to a new friend.
The young girl is my grandaughter aged 19 and a student. The young man is my grandson and is a 3rd year med. student. SOOOOO PROUD !!!!! love you all. Rose
