I'm a deep thinker, gentle-natured and very shy with new people. I enjoy all the usual blokey things, have a good social life and, i think, a good sense of fun (well, I crack myself up). I enjoy live music, although i must confess that since I turned 40, this seems to involve seeing tribute bands more than the real things.

I'd like to speak somebody who has something to say, somebody with opinions (they dont have to be the same as mine), somebody who can inspire me to re-examine my own opinions/attitudes or spark an interest in new topics. I like strong characters.





The world is like a ride in an amusement park. And when you choose to go on it you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round. It has thrills and chills and it's very brightly coloured and it's very loud and it's fun, for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time and they begin to question: "Is this real, or is this just a ride?" And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, they say, "Hey, don't worry, don't be afraid, ever, because this is just a ride."

Oh and one more thing! I DON'T DRIVE. It amazes me how big an issue this is for some of you. I could afford to run a car, I just choose not to. Not driving doesn't make me a dosser. I don't need a fast car to feel like a man ... not when 4 pints of Boddingtons does the trick just nicely.
