am a human male, currently aged 23 and with interests in almost everything; particularly reading, writing, philosophy, art, music, politics, and comedy. A lot of people I know have recently moved away, so I'm always looking for new friends and new things to do. I am open to trying new things and generally up for anything as long as there is laughter and good company involved!

I also enjoy traditional pubs, but am not averse to other forms of eating and drinking establishments! I enjoy nights out in town (although Cardiff is hardly ideal for this these days!). And am never happier than when I am around the people closest to me.

I am knowingly and happily a true geek, and am as likely to be found discussing RPGs, anime, fantasy fiction and nintendo games as I am about art, music, philosophy or politics. I like to think I can manage a decent conversation on most subjects though, with the notable exception of sports.

I like people with lots to talk about, who enjoy sharing and discussing their experiences and opinions. I also like people who enjoy a bit of silliness and are happy to listen to me talking nonsense from time to time. A good sense of humour is the most important thing in a human being. I enjoy eating and am pretty adventurous with food... however I am unable to eat raw tomatoes. I also enjoy cooking and always enjoy a chance to cook a meal for someone!

I'm a romantic person at heart, not one for the practicalities! But at the same time I am also annoyed by the perpetuation of relationship gender roles and stereotypes.

For a first date, I think it's best to do something where there is plenty of opportunity just to talk and get to know each other. Somewhere quiet and conducive to conversation, such as a nice restaurant or quiet pub. Perhaps in the Summer months, a romantic walk or similar.
