I graduated from the University of Montevallo and I have a Bachelor's Degree. I obtained my Master's Degree at JSU and from there I moved on to teach college history at Southern Union. I don't really know how to make myself sound really different, but I guess first and foremost I'd like a relationship much more than some sort of one night stand or something.

For me, intelligence is a must. I enjoy conversations, and they generally consist of the deep topics in life. I love a sense of humor too, and I know how to make someone laugh or I at least can laugh at myself. I often find myself in leadership positions, though it's my natural instinct to shun such situations. I like confident women who are willing to take risks and think sporadically along with an out-of-the-box attitude. Plus, if you want a guy who will treat you like crap look somewhere else. I treat my special someone with a lot of respect and they will never have to worry about being mistreated. I'm not stuck to plans, rather I just sort of figure things out as they come to me. I love girls who smile a lot and I really enjoy a great sense of humor. I can get along with just about any type of person and I love meeting new people. However, I just want a girl who wants to be treated right and will treat me right. I work hard to make someone feel special feel loved without having to wonder. Yet, I won't let anybody run me over either. I believe in treating people right, but you can't be a doormat for someone because of that.

I love doing different kinds of things every time I get a chance. I love to watch football and basketball. A few injuries over the years prevent me from playing any sports all that well. I love to workout and martial arts have become a major aspect of my life along with weightlifting. Yet, I love reading history books and comic books, so in the end you could say I'm a huge nerd with a twist of jock in there. While I love my job, I don't want to be in the world of academia my entire life. I also want to start my own business and travel as much of the world as possible while I'm still on it. I also have a love of the outdoors that comes alive with camping and medieval reenactments.

A first date is always interesting at least. I mean, even if you're bored out of your mind you at least can say, "Damn that was boring and I won't go out with that person again." I'm pretty much open for anything on the first date. I'm not looking for anything in particular, I just would rather avoid some sort of horrible disaster like my car exploding or something like poison.
