I reside in the redwood mountains of Santa Cruz, California. I am, by nature, happy and cheerful, with a strong sense of humor and a keen mind. You will find me fairly easy to read because I am straightforward,practicing deeper and deeper levels of honesty(a life work). Experiences in life have brought about a certain degree of cherished wisdom and the ability to even give good advice.
I love to laugh, and I can do so with abandon! I am very young at heart and can bring that out in my beloved.I am easily entertained for I find delight in life's simple pleasures! Money is not my object. I seek authenticity, and that which is truly meaningful.
I list my religion as Hindu, but it might be even more exact to say my "religion" is yoga,the path to union via the inquiry into our true nature, and ,in particular, bhakti, the path of devotion, and music is my vehicle. I am not attracted to dogma, and I don't fill my head with concepts of sin or punishment. If Divine will has a partner for me, he will find beauty in that devotion. He will not fear or recoil at dedication to spiritual path and the search for Truth. As you can probably ascertain, I am most in synch with eastern religion, yet I do believe that many are the paths, but Truth is one....

My Hobbies and Interests...
I teach English in a local high school(have taught health as well.School is out as of today, June 12, for 2 1/1 months! Good time to make new friends!
I would have to say music is my hobby, though a friend pointed out recently that teaching is my hobby and music is my profession, so I might adjust my self-perception, aspire to it, and live it! I love peaceful times in nature. I don't need to be entertained to have a happy day....
Friends first, with the potential to become something deep and substantial with a kindred spirit, to build something between us that could possibly blossom. As for my favorite activities,they usually involve music:singing, concerts, festivals, and dance.
I must admit I also enjoy good movies, including the best of Bollywood. Music is a passion for me--many different kinds. I also would love to do more traveling, and have already seen so many places, though not a lot of my own country. Also,I have a cat and appreciate all animals .

Kind, sincere, communicative, both in self-expression and in listening,genuinely sensitive to and interested in others. He has spiritual focus,integrity,loyalty, affection and a loving heart. He may be, in some ways, perhaps a little traditional, but predominantly progressive and positive. Do you believe in romancing a woman anymore, winning her heart? That would be sweet to find, but not a requirement.

Any activity that would allow us to see if there is true interest in getting to know each other more, and allow us to talk, perhaps over dinner or lunch, sitting face to face, with a little time to share a bit about ourselves. The first meeting's success will be measured by the degree of comfort and the mutually enthusiastic looking forward to a "next time".
