I am a single father of a wonderful son, he is my hero. I am the primary custodial parent because I set my sights on that goal and didn't let go.

I am a Seattle native and I am stable in the fact that I have worked for the same global company for almost 14 years, own my house and I do have a car! I also own a small business.

My job revolves around Emergency Management; leading a team of 230 Evacuation Team Members, SERT Team for major disasters and the Quick Response Team for medical or trauma emergencies. I provide training for First Aid and CPR/AED.

I am a very affectionate kind of person and old fashioned in the sense I will open the door for you now and always. I will send you flowers and cards for no special reason other than to let you know I am thinking about you.

Casual describes me well where I am comfortable in jeans and tennis shoes but I do clean up well and can sport a suit for an evening at a charity event. Not a huge sports fan, going to a Mariner game is more about the ambiance and the company than the game itself for me. But I am a movie fan and love to watch a good romance, comedy or sci-fi movie.

I love preparing a meal that can be shared with that special someone and hope she is not afraid to join me prep or cook for it is the simplest things in life that brings true joy.

Enjoy all sorts of activities and have road raced motorcycles, played basketball, baseball, football, tennis, fishing , trail walking, running and hitting the gym to name a few. Recently coordinated and coached the company Dragon Boat Racing Team.

I am looking for a woman that is not afraid to get her hands dirty with me in the garden but can slip on that black****ail dress and high heels for a night on the town. She must be able to stand on her own yet is soft enough to allow me in and learn about her most intimate details. She must be a woman who appreciates the little gestures of love and affection and not take the things I do for her great or small for granted.

If you can toss a ball, shoot hoops or throw a Frisbee that is a huge plus. Being active to stay in shape and willing to take a short run with me and my girl Maddy would be nice though not a deal breaker. Would prefer a healthy life style but not over board because the occasional fries or pizza is always welcomed.

I don't really call it a date. I refer to it more as a "coffee meet n greet". I want it to be casual. I want to go where we feel comfortable with who we are and not have to worry about being on our best behavior.
