I still like to get dressed up & go out, however, I'm a little more laid back these days. I am quite comfortable staying in with good company, conversation and/or a movie. I wouldn't consider myself a complex person. I am very easy-going and down to earth. I am straightforward and honest to a fault. I am young for my age, love to laugh and have a great sense of humor.

I am very passionate about music and it is a big part of my day to day. Personal listening and/or DJing, I like to play R&B. Out of my vast music collection, Sade is my favorite! My DJ Biz keeps me current with the Hot 100, though I have eclectic tastes. I am also an avid collector of 80's New Wave & Post-Punk.

I do not watch TV, with the exception of The Daily Show (Jon Stewart), The Colbert Report or UFC. I'd rather be watching a movie.

Who am I looking for...?

Someone whose cup is half full (optimistic), enjoys the simple things in life (lighthearted), believes in/stands by her man (supportive), is comfortable in her beliefs (spiritual), appropriately speaks her mind (communicative), has fulfilled most of her curiosities (trustworthy). I suppose these are some of the main qualities I would seek.

Also, I wouldn't consider the following to be "deal breakers", rather, an added bonus: She is thin, 5' 8" or less, sense of humor, sense of fashion, into the arts & entertainment.

I think dinner and conversation are good on a first date (or lunch, depending on your comfort zone of meeting someone new). I have seen many on this site who believe meeting for coffee to be cliché. However, if it were a unique café and not the local Starbucks, the conversation would let you both know if you wanted to move forward.
