Yes, I am caught! Hook, line and sinker. I am ecstatic to say that the exact scenario I describe below has come true. I've been swept off my feet and maintain this profile to stay in touch with my friends and forum addiction. So many people comment on the name... Yes, I am a nerd! An action nerd, if you will.

The boring facts are:

I am a competent, active, intelligent woman with a house, two school aged boys and a career in the I.T. field. I have no criminal, physiological or psychological problems; I even have good credit. I am diverse and adaptable; I can get dressed up for a formal dinner and mingle with intellectuals, or throw a backyard BBQ by a pool full of rambunctious children with equal ease. I am a creative person, waxing artistic and lyrical at times. Other times I am the epitome of logic and practicality.

The uncommon truths are:

I currently have braces, and I like them (they give me nerd credibility).
I am an avid international traveler, so far mostly South America but NZ and Ireland are high on the list for my next jaunt. I also love to spend time in Tahoe during snowboarding season.
I would rather get a gift card to a tech store like frys, then a bouquet of flowers.
I am currently training to run a 10K and go to the gym at least 4 days a week.
I think $100+ purses are ridiculous (unless you can sell it on eBay for $500+).
Although holding down a career, kids and a household demonstrates a certain maturity; I am never happier then when I am acting like a little kid at a theme park.
I am very easy going in my relationships, but that doesn't mean I don't have standards!
Status symbols and superficial things do not impress me, unless you are talking about something with a harddrive. Although I love dressing up and looking good, I don't feel the need to go put on make-up to go to the store or (god forbid) the gym (there are three pics which illustrate this).
I'll say just about anything to be funny... so watch out!

1.) In a man –
Can you laugh and smile while having a conversation with multi-syllable words? I tend to be attracted to men that are good conversationalists. (Which means more than talking; it means being a good listener too.) Are you a sensible, adventurous sage that can appreciate and respect not only my creativity and intelligence but also quirkiness…like an occasional lapse into baby-talk (or lolcat)?
Chemistry, there is really no defining it; however, I can try. Attraction is multi-faceted and involves so much more than the physical. There may be no chemistry even if you’re incredibly attractive, depending on your personality.

2.) In a relationship -
Yes, I am here to test the waters and go on a few fun dates. If one of the following happens: sparks fly, we laugh together until I snort (and then we laugh harder), we have an engrossing conversation (on any topic), or you sweep me off my feet…then ideally it may progress into an affectionate, caring relationship. If it doesn’t then at least we’ve both made a good friend and I am the kind of girl that guys find it easy to be friends with.
