I started to make a list of things I could say about who I am. Once I got going it quickly became an interesting exercise, and then it got to be fun and liberating to write it all down, and then it just got silly. When I stopped, it was eight pages long.....sigh. Why can't I just be a simple country lass? The answer is that I could try, but I would get bored in about 3 seconds. Here are the first six things on my list:

I am smart

I am funny

I am proud of myself and my accomplishments

I am self-sufficient

I am fearless

I smell good

It gets both better and worse, but my list pretty much runs the full spectrum of everything a person becomes in the course of a full and well-lived life. This list could double as my wish list for a partner in a relationship except that you can's smell as good as me (that's just wrong!).

Here are the last six things on my list:

I don't take credit for the achievements of others

I don't like driving an automatic

I don't eat organ meat

I don't suffer fools well

I don't want to be a b*tch (but sometimes I can't help it)

I don't love getting up in the morning, but realize it is a necessary evil

You need to know that I have a teenager still at home and 3 dogs. If these are dealbreakers for you, then I am not your girl. Looking forward to hearing from you (or wishing you success in your search).
