I am a retired firefighter who works part time and does volunteer work. I am known to have a good sense of humor, fairly intelligent, and not awful to look at. (I question that at times) I love the outdoors, both mountains and the ocean. I go to the Rockies a couple of times a year to take part in my hobby, wildlife photography. I like people who are young at heart. I do not like playing games with feelings. I'm a straight talking person that likes to say what I think. My job made me appreciate life and I'm grateful to have good health and try to fill everyday. I am a good cook, and love to tinker in my garden. I live in my own home with two dogs, they are indeed my best buddies. This is getting to be more like a novel,so, I'll say,"The End." And let you help write the last chapter.

I'd love to just meet someone for lunch, dinner, a walk, anything to have time to talk and get to know each other. I am in no hurry. Honest conversation is the best foundation on which to build a relationship. I stress the honest part. I am not a big drinker or nightclub kind of guy, more the quiet type.
