I am really beginning to believe that whole credo about nice guys finishing last. I have had an unbelievable string of bad luck and I am hoping to right it. I believe in treating a lady like she should be treated, i.e. opening doors and generally being a gentleman. I love meeting new people and having good conversation. An ideal first date would be doing something unconventional. Like a great band that is in town, or a sporting event that we both like. After that, dinner or drinks at a quiet bar to get to know each other. A nice walk or sitting on the pier would be the ultimate nightcap so to speak.
