I bought myself a kayak, and am currently learning the ins and outs. I love being out on the water though, and Hicks Lake is a beautiful piece of BC from every angle. Looking forward to exploring other lakes, and hopefully getting other people hooked so that I can have company on some of my excursions.

I wish I could select more than one option under "I am looking for." Because, yes, I am looking to date and hoping that I meet someone with whom I can have a long term relationship. But I am also looking to hang out and make friends.

So, a little about me... finally. Three paragraphs in and I am finally starting into what most people will tell you in their first three sentences. Forgive me, I am a writer and I am hopelessly long winded. If you are still reading, great!

Well, to risk sounding cliche, I am an easy going, friendly, cute, affectionate, somewhat goofy 31 year old. Creativity is a part of my soul, and there is little that I admire more in others. I am a bit of a dreamer, but am also very realistic. I am a spiritual person. I have a good sense of humor, am fairly adventurous, and I can be a lot of fun to be around. I love the outdoors. Who I am looking for? I won't narrow the field too much, because everyone is different and that is not a bad thing. I do want to meet people relatively close in age to me. Creative people are awesome. People with a good sense of adventure. People with a story to tell. Let's chat.

Who I am not looking for? People looking for intimate encounters - I don't need to come online to find people who are interested in that. Not looking for people who are unnecessarily rude or mean towards others. And I don't like hot tempers... that doesn't mean that you can't be passionate or opinioned though.
