Just looking for cool people to hang out with. A couple friends directed me here to find some cool people in my area to hang with and have a few drinks.

My hobbies include traveling...ALOT. I tend to go to Vegas at least twice a year, Denver a few times, back home to Iowa (yes, I'm a home grown Iowa boy, don't fault me for it) for football games, to Mexico now and again, and have decided next Feb I'm heading to Rio for Carnival.

Some goals I have are to go back to school to get my BA in either Economics, Business Management, or Finance. I'll get around to that eventually, in the meantime I'm just having mucho fun.

I'm a very wacky person. Can be completely random at times and am a 100% last minute decision maker. If I make plans, I will follow through. But it's awfully hard to get me to make plans more than a few days in advance.

Also, I am moving to New Orleans October 15th-ish. I start a new position within my company (promotion, YIPEEEE) on the 19th. I am moving from the Chicago area, so things are going to be fairly boring. So, if you're in that area, and you've noticed I took a look at your profile, please say hi. I'm moving there without a clue as to where to live, and don't know a single person in the New Orleans area. So, I NEED SOME FRIENDS BEFORE I GO CRAZY!

Not really looking for a date, I think I have that covered. That could change if we hit it off, but really I'm just looking for cool people to hang out with. (And wouldn't you want to actually know someone is cool before you date them anyway?) But, if I were to go on a first date, I like to keep things casual. Maybe a drink and conversation. Or an afternoon at the beach hanging out. (are there beaching in New Olreans?) There are millions of things to do, and I'm fairly open to trying all of them.
