Through all that does occur
Are you the one who makes my heart purr?
Are you the one?
Are you her?
Are you why my heart does stir?
Have you been searching for someone like me, like I’ve been searching for someone like thee?
Could it be?
Were we brought together by destiny?
I’ve shared with you so much
Everything and anything except my loving touch
Please don’t be afraid to tell me if this is too much
There’s a time and a place for everything
The time is now
The place is here
Are you the one?
Is my search almost done?
My heart is tired of being on the run
If this is you
You know what you must do
To yourself you must always be so very true
It would be impossible to say that the heart can be loyal to just one
When all around us we all bask in the same warmth and light of the sun
There will always be others that will always be close
You can ponder and you can wander, and it might always seem that what you’re looking for seems over yonder
It’s my duty to deliver these devotions to all of mankind
