About Me
...so you were like; "eh, his pics are passable so lets see what he has to say..."
Describing oneself is hard as hell isn't it? So instead, I'll tell ya some random, throw away instances from my past:
I once drove home (6 hours) to surprise my parents after not seeing them for several months...they were gone for the weekend visiting the area I was living at the time.
I played hockey a few years ago with a couple of current NHL players. Oh that didn't turn out so well....for me at least.
One time, while at a bar seeing Our Lady Peace perform, a crowd surfer accidentally kicked my head into my friend's shoulder blade resulting in a broken nose for me. A bouncer gave me a towel as I stayed for the rest of the show.
When I was 18, my brother-in-law gave me the book: 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. I didn't realize he was trying to tell me something until I was 26 when I finally read it. He should have told me that the first habit was to be proactive.
I had a 55 year old, former General in the South Korean Army, front kick me in the stomach, only making the slightest contact. After a five second pause, I was down on the ground sucking wind and to this day I dunno how it happened.
Early in my student career at Penn State I was at a frat (bad decision #uno) and had a lil too much liquid encouragement (bad decision #dos). I ended up spending the better part of 3 hours, sick in their living room bathroom. The next day I received a bid to be a brother at the frat. Never has my absence made such an impression.
I usually don't play my guitar in front of people but I did play once for a girl. Bad idea as she was a music teacher and just critiqued my playing for the 10 min following.
Finally, when the guys at work found out what my previous career field was, well it was a bad day for me! Who knew there were so many jokes about weather men. That's what I get for drastically changing my profession...
First Date
3 ingredients to a good first date. One person, another person, and then the fact that they dig each other. If that's the case then you should be able to have a great time in most situations. I could have a good time at an accounting convention if you invited me to one.
