Hi! My name is Kathy. I'm a 50 year old mother of 2 wonderful sons, whom I love dearly, the grandmother of 4 grandsons, (plus 1 on the way in October),and 1 granddaughter.

I am originally from Louisville, Kentucky and moved to Springfield, MO in 1998. I work as a collections manager for a local used car lot. I also do volunteer work on a regular basis for the Greater Ozarks Chapter of the American Red Cross.

I was raised in the city, but am a country girl at heart. I like most types of music, with my most favorite being country.

I have 4 dogs, 2 cats and several fish. I love horses! I like to go fishing, can bait my own hook and remove my own fish!

I'm not a partier, but do enjoy going out and having a good time. I am a Christian, but, don't always grace the doors of a church with my presence. I would say that I'm more spiritual than religious. I know where my heart is with the LORD, so don't try and judge me or change my views. I love to read and listen to Sylvia Browne.

I tend to be a multi-faceted woman. I can go from denim and pearls, to leather and lace. I can dress up girly-girl, or do jeans and a shirt. It just depends on my mood for that day. I am a plus sized woman, but do know how to dress appropriately for my size. I do my best to care for myself as I've had some past serious medical issues. Beauty and good looks are fleeting (even in men), but it's what's in your heart and between your ears that's really important. True beauty lies within ourselves. I try to be the best that I can be, as a wife, mother, grandmother, friend, lover, etc.

My favorite color is pink...of course and my most favorite flowers are roses. I'm not a gold digger. I don't have much, but what I do have, I've worked hard for them. You tend to appreciate things more when you have to work for it. Although an occasional gift is nice as well.

I do not want a man in my life who lies, cheats, or abuses drugs, alcohol or other people, children or animals. Being an assertive, outgoing man is ok, but I do not care for an arrogant man who thinks the world owes him something and that he's GOD'S gift! I need a man to be my partner, lover, best friend, confidant. To walk beside me, not in front of me...like he's better than I, nor behind me...like I'm better than he. We walk side by side through all things good AND bad, without hesitation that the other will be there should either of us falter.

I don't expect perfection, as I'm not perfect myself. But, I do expect, honesty, fidelity, dignity and respect. These things I will give in return, along with all the love, caring, nurturing and compassion you could want.

I'm not looking for fleeting encounters, extramarital affairs, or the like, just someone to share what I have to offer, for the rest of our lives. I've had a couple of bad marriages, so I'm a little gun shy. If you can't be true to me, then please... pass me by.
