Hi & thank you for taking the time to check me out :) Im just a normal guy, well, maybe not normal, but Id say average. Just like everyone Im looking for my better half. Someone to share lifes journey with. Being as I have never been married you could say Im to selective. I like to think Im just not one to settle. I have dated many women. Some long term, some short & I guess maybe I was always looking for that spar, that one woman that would captivate me, inspire me, better me. Don’t get me wrong, dating has always been fun, but its not the same as when two people are committed to each other. When there is actual real love, not just the dating lust that fades after a few weeks or months. Sadly I have never found that combination or attraction, friendship, trust, loyalty, communication & commitment yet. All of which are VITAL to the success of a relationship. As for trust I have found that you cant just give it, for it to succeed it must be EARNED. People have told me, mostly women, that looks aren’t everything & that in time looks will fade & its the personality that matters most, but both men AND women are first attracted to a mate by appearance. You MUST be attracted to someone to want to get to know them. That is true, & I NEED to be attracted. If that makes me shallow then so be it. I NEED to have a powerful physical attraction to a woman. Intimacy is very important in bringing couples together. It bonds them. And NO intimacy is NOT just sex, its kissing, cuddling and just romantic moments. I want someone I can’t stop thinking of when they’re gone & who in turn is pining for me. Now I can be friends with almost anyone, but for romance I have to be physically attracted to you.
As for who I am & who Im looking for : I am a single never married no child having male seeking a serious LTR. I am very direct, sometimes to a fault. That being the case, I am in above average shape & am ony attracted to women that are in shape as well. Thats just what I'M attracted to. People, both men and women, are attracted to different things. Some guys like only Asian women, some only tall women, others like only blondes. There are women that only want Black men, others want only Lation men while still others only want a rich man. Im sure there are many men that like larger women, that Im sure are great people, but I am just not one of them. Everyone likes different things, I like thin or athletic attractive women. So please dont write me telling me why I should date a type of woman I dont find attractive. I also know that my age is an issue for my type of woman. Lets face it more people, both men & women, over 40 very few stay in shape. I lift 3 times a week and run 5 days a week. Most don’t have the drive to spend the time or energy it takes to stay in shape. I realize that. So I understand the niche of women I’m looking for, that are both single AND available is quite minimal but I still have hope.
I have come to realize that Im an aquired taste. For me, things are very black & white. There is very lil grey. Either I like you or I wont. If I find a woman that interests me I will want to talk to you, most likely more that once a month, not that I 'm a stalker, just that I find her interesting. I think if people are interested in each other they should want to communicate. If this makes me high maintenance, so be it. I am a man of my word. If I tell you I will call you or meet you at a specific time, then thats when I will call or be there. If in the rare instance I am running behind I will call, simple common courtesy. If you cant do the same, dont waste my time. I like physical displays of affection, and know that you need to let the people you care about know you care, for you never know when the day will come that you have no tomorrows. And NOTHING can haunt you like the regret of things unsaid or undone. Now I know I am a bit overwhelming & even somewhat intimidating. I am hyperactive and pace alot. I know that overall I am a good man, with a good heart, and once I am your friend, I am undyingly loyal. I am a good person, a great friend, and a caring attentive lover, and if you cant see that, then you dont deserve to know me anyway. End the end, I am what I am, take it or leave it. As always, it is what it is. And if you pass on me, an actual good man, then you will most likely deserve who you end up with. We all live with the choices we make.
