I'm a displaced Montana cowboy. Boots and hat 80% of the time, but do have a tux and my friends say I "clean up" real good. Semi-retired with an MBA. Self-employed my whole life. 6'1", 185lbs.,blond (some grey),deep blue eyes (kind of a younger Ted Turner). Live in Alaska (36yrs.)8 months a year and travel during the winter months, mostly to my home in Maui. Love flying my plane (twin) and fishing in remote Alaska. Divorced 7 years, 3 children, son is ER doctor, 2 daughters still in university. Not a snob, but don't have time for shallow, boorish people who don't have an opinion on current events, politics, etc. Or someone who has an opinion but can't defend their position verbally in a spirited conversation. Don't have to agree with me as I often play the "devil's advocate" just to test the depth of their convictions. I love to read and my biggest disappointment in life is that there isn't enough time to deeply engage in a field of endevor which I find exciting, i.e. philosophy, architecture, physics, chemistry, astronomy, etc. Love the arts, fine dining, good wine and above all an exciting evening with a woman who stimulates me to be a better man. I'm a hopeless romantic and a pushover for petite redheads with blue/green eyes (probably their disposition or because I've always had a secret crush on Ann Margaret) lol.

I'm kind of "old fashioned" when it comes to dating. Flowers on arrival, an upscale resturant for a slow 4 course meal, wine, stimulating conversation to get to know each other. Then to the local performing arts center for music or stage play. Ending with a nightcap at one of my favorite "watering holes" maybe a dance or two before escorting my "lady" home.
