I love/like: playing ice hockey, long sunny days, dining out with friends or family, seeing a movie that makes you think or see another perspective on the world(although I would not exclude a good escapist movie either). I enjoy going for bike rides, walks, tennis, skiing, hiking.

Giving something back to the community as a volunteer is important. We have been given so much here in this corner of the world.

I have done some travelling over the years, and usually it is with a backpack, however I tend to find more hotels than hostels at this point. Have not made it to China, Morocco or Iceland yet but one day I will, perhaps with a companion I meet here.

The woman I would like to meet does not have to put on a lot of makeup to feel beautiful, but perhaps she does. She is intelligent and thoughtful and is considerate of others, and she can handle herself well in a lot of situations. She definitely does not smoke, she is just too smart for that.

I am certainly not perfect and do not expect perfection, that would be boring. Integrity, honesty and good values are a good base of character and I would hope you possess them along with a good sense of humour.

There are so many variations of people, it is like the old saying "I don't know much about art, but I know what I like". Perhaps you are the person I should be meeting over a glass of wine or orange juice or whatever you choose to drink.

First date, hmm, I suppose we just have to meet over that drink and just see how we get along. Or go for a walk and ask twenty questions like in one of those old Rom/Com movies and fall truly, madly, deeply...oh if it were as easy as in the movies. If we really click, then the date will just go on and on....
