I consider myself to be a gentleman in every sense of the word. I enjoy helping others out, sharing a good laugh, and an even better conversation. I am patient and honest. I am a man of my word. I enjoy the simple things in life, the things that we all can find for free but sometimes forget about or take for granted...spirituality/meditation, sunsets, sunrises, smiles, laughter, a bird taking a bath in a random puddle of water, friends/family, education. I enjoy the beauty of a tree, the shape of a mountain, the sound of rain falling and then going out to play in it, the smile on a person's face when they treat themselve to something special. I try to learn something new everyday, whether it be negative or positive, because I know what I learn forever impacts me as the person I am and will become. I am passionate about three things: my family/friends (the people in my life), education (learning), and my career (teaching).
I have recently gotten involved with two nonprofit organizations. One is called Invisible Children and Schools for Schools...raising money and collecting books to help schools in Uganda for displaced children. The other is called Charity: Water; if you're interested in helping out let me know.
I also enjoy getting out and doing active stuff-concerts (punk, ska, reggae, acoustic, ...), I get a kick out of swing dancing, especially to a live band; baseball games, bodyboarding, skateboarding, and golfing. I love a good BBQ with friends and family.
I am a secondary history and film teacher and have taught for 8 years. I have a B.A. in History with a minor in Ethnic Studies (Racism, Discrimination, Immigration, etc...). I have recently finished a Master's degree in Educational Counseling.
I am joining this site primarily to meet new people, have some new experiences, and see what comes of them...

Depends on the person I am with...it can range from a casual meal to going for a nice outdoors walk (Don't worry I'll take care of ya... ;-)
