I'm a rock solid cat who is funny, erudite, dependable, and loyal. I've got a sly, droll wit that is both thought provoking and ab-toningly hilarious. If humor were a band I'd have backing vocals of sarcasm and innuendo on drums. I keep a goal of making 5 people laugh per day. Confident and fit, so that's good, but I like big margaritas so I'm not all health militant or into the 'roids (I'm hearing bad things). Love to share (mis)adventures and trade stories (bawdy, tawdry, zany, wacky anything). I like a lady with a distinctive laugh whose eyes can smile and light up a room (not literally like a possessed demon though). Laughter makes everything else so much easier. I'm looking for someone sporty and funny and ready to break it down. Someone who is positive and enjoys getting out there and experiencing it all. I mean really, we can't find the meat of life sitting on a couch eating Doritos (this sentence sponsored by Frito-Lay).

I love swimming, surfing, reading, art galleries (no, seriously) and listening to music while noodling a cure for hayfever (not really). I love films and will watch anything from slapstick to foreign art house fare. I've learned over the years to be a pretty decent cook and have had people rave over my Texas Roadkill Chili. I love the satisfaction of a shower after a hard workout, a well-made cup of green tea, leisurely drives, watching the stars, and the rythmic sounds of ocean surf. If I were a book, I'd be a dense read, like something from Pynchon, but with comics on every other page. A Cliff's Notes version is available. A common thread can explain everything about me (he laughs, he cries), but it's only the first yarn in the tale (in real life I don't speak in parentheticals, just tangents). Well, likely a meetup would preclude any "date". It'd be an open and airy space - like a Farmer's Market or perhaps an outdoor cafe. Nothing complicated. But a true first date, the thing past the meetup, can be anything. It could be simple - like dinner, drinks, and a good conversation. I think first dates tend to reflect the emerging dynamic between two people, so it's tough to say exactly what we'd do, but it will be fun and full of laughter and probably include some great food.
