Currently enjoying my career, and life in general for that matter. Three of my four kids are grown and the youngest (13) stays with her mother, I see her one night a week and two weekends per month. Needless to say, I value the time I have with her.

Non-smoker, but I do enjoy adult beverages responsibly. I walk daily, depending on the weather and my schedule. Not at my military weight (c'mon I'm 46).

Looking for an intelligent woman, sarcasm is appreciated with a good natured attitude. I guess you could say I am a moderate republican, my mind is open enough to see someone else's perspective, and to respect it even if I don't necessarily agree. I'm not looking for perfection (whatever that may be), but I do hope that you take pride in your physical appearance. I do like to experiment in the kitchen so my ideal date wouldn't mind me cooking a meal occassionally. I promise if a meal doesn't turn out, we can always eat out.

I work hard at a challenging, but rewarding career. Still in a rebuilding mode following my divorce, but the future looks bright. Short sighted women need not apply. I have aspirations, not to mention short and long term goals.

Love music, from country to classic rock, hip-hop and jazz, there's not much I don't like. Was once a wannabe rock star, ended up being a pretty good DJ for a number of years. I'm a sports fan; motorsports, pro football (Go Cowboys!), college hoops in March. The beauty of the DVR gives me the ability to leave the TV behind and still enjoy the games. Still have fun playing video games, guess I'm a kid at heart in some respects.

Somewhat of a movie buff (love Netflix), and enjoy a good story brought to life on the big screen. I can separate fantasy from reality and don't necessarily drink all of Hollywood's Kool-Aid. Favorite current TV shows are "My Name Is Earl", "Chuck", and "The Office".

Military veteran, I stand when I hear the National Anthem. I've got a good sense of humor, even though it tends to be on the dry side. I treat people with respect, and believe chivalry is not dead. Basically, a nice guy.

I think that a first date should be a chance to get to know each other, perhaps, lunch, dinner, maybe even just a cup of coffee. See if there is chemistry first, then we can get more adventurous.
