I am a creative, spontaneous, intelligent and spiritual man. I am a teacher who is committed to my profession and my students. I derive great joy from sharing in their growth. I love to think of new ideas for lessons and to make it creative and fun for them. I enjoy reading, great movies, but also embracing the serenity of nature. I am very responsible, reliable and financially secure. .
I am devoted to the people I care about most. I love children and animals. I listen to a lot of contemporary jazz, and would love to get to go out to concerts and other events. I appreciate museums and great works of art. I write as a hobby when time affords it, but I am more interested now in being open to new experiences to share with someone special.
I work hard, about 4-5 days a week, to stay in good shape in mind, body and spirit. I have a meditation practice that I feel makes me a better listener, more patient and stronger in handling life’s challenges.

The first date would have to at start out as quiet and easy, such as coffee at a Starbucks in the morning or afternooon, but should leave enough time to progress to other settings( a walk downtown,etc) and deeper conversation if that is the direction it wants to go. A relationship, whether it is a friendship or something that will become more intimate, has a wonderful life of its own and we should allow ourselvess to be led a little. Trying too hard at romance or generating sparks will now allow our souls breathing room, if the meeting has any real potential.
