I know she is out there, that one person that you just connect with, the one that just feels right, the one that feels the same way when they meet you. I know you are out there because I have seen you. I’ve seen you at the gas pump, I’ve seen you walking into the mall, and I’ve seen you at the stoplight. You are the attractive 40 something lady, sitting there in your car, without a ring on your finger. Whether it is an old model car or something new and fancy, I see that it is well kept, the windows are clean, it looks well maintained. That tells me that you care about yourself and what you have. I guess that is why I am here, I don’t think I am going to meet you in a bar, I’ve “been there – done that.” I’m not sure where I will meet you, maybe here, maybe not. Maybe on my next date, maybe a month, or a year, or ten years from now. Now, I don’t want to sound desperate, because I am not, but I guess I am a romantic at heart. I still believe in the “happily ever after.” I still believe you can find someone who is both your best friend and your soul-mate. Seven years ago I thought I had found this person, but as we all know sometimes things just don’t turn out as you have planed. Now, I am turning the page and starting a new chapter in my life. I am about to turn 51, and I still feel pretty good about myself, I don’t have a beer gut, still got most of my hair, have a nice home, a great career and an absolutely wonderful 11 year old daughter whom I only get on a part time basis. (not nearly enough) When I here women say that there aren’t any good guys left, I always want to raise my hand.
Now, I have written a lot about what I am looking for but not a lot about me, so here goes. I am kind of a motor head at heart. I like cars, motorcycles, boats, and my real passion is airplanes. I know it is not politically correct right now but if it burns gas, I love it! I am rebuilding an airshow airplane now, and I also run a Harley repair shop that is currently for sale, and work my full time job with the airline. I live on the lake and love the water, love to snow ski, but haven’t had time in several years. I like to travel but sometimes I think my most cherished moments are just quite evenings spent at home with my daughter or someone special. If someone is looking for me they won’t find me on the golf course or in a bar but, probably in my work shop probably working on airplane parts. I lead a very active life but once the motorcycle shop sells I hope to slow down a little. I love spending time with my family and my wonderful 11 year old daughter. I am a super nice guy who rarely leaves the seat up. I live an exciting life that I would like to share with the right person, but I realize I’m not Mr. Perfect or I probably wouldn’t be on here. I have learned from past mistakes and hopefully have become a better person with each experience. I’m not arrogant, but humbled by all the opportunities I have been given in life so far and look forward to my next 50 years.
Now, I am tired of typing and I guess you are tired of reading, so if I sound interesting drop me a note and I will fill in more of the details. Openness and honesty are two of my best virtues, and I ask for the same in return.
