Geez- first dates should never be the same, just as no two people are the same. I have been on first dates that are just a meeting for coffee before work, and first dates that were a road trip through two states. (No, I didn't abduct them, just stop it!) Any first date should have plenty of opportunity for conversation... No, check that, ANY date should have plenty of opportunity for conversation. Yeah, that is much better....
