WHAT I BELIEVE:
I feel like I have learned a lot in my life. I most enjoy spending time with people who like me, have lived a full life and learned something from it too. It's always good to meet someone who can really understand that. I'm pretty self-confident, but humble by nature (Yes, it's possible to be both). I generally look for the best in people and I choose to take the high road with people, regardless of how I am perceived. I absolutely believe in the karma of Good Will and practice the Golden Rule. I definitely believe in a Higher Power. Faith in that Higher Power is fundamental with me. I accept that others believe differently, and I welcome different ideas.

WHAT I DO: I have a full life; I am a writer and I stay abreast of current events. I try to read two newspapers a day and I usually head for the opinion/editorial pages first. I have a real interest in politics and political history. I am extremely close to my family: I have two grown sons and two teenage daughters and my absolute best times are spent with them and my mom, who just turned 80. My favorite place is 12,500 feet high in the Rocky Mountains, where no photograph does the scenery justice. I also own a kayak and love to row. I also enjoy whitewater rafting, particularly in the Colorado foothills. If I watch a football game, I'll usually take notes. It's my favorite sport, and my dream job would be to scout college football teams. You could say my other interests are diverse. I've studied Art enough to know the difference between a Rembrandt and a Van Gogh. And although I am a novice, I have recently gotten very interested in gardening. I have been employed by the federal government for almost 35 years. The money and benefits are great, but I look forward to retiring from my job.

SUMMARY: There is no special woman in my life, but I don't feel lonely. You won't find me to be possessive or clingy, probably I guess because I don't have that much free time. What I mean is, I have two beautiful daughters that I visit every two weeks. Please understand how important my time spent with my daughters is. Hopefully, you have children as well and can relate. That being said, I still would enjoy spending time with someone special if she happened to come along sometime. But I go with the flow, and let things progress naturally. I am in no hurry and that seems to work for me.
