I am divorced dad of 3 awesome kids with equal custody, youngest being 10. Raising my kids properly is very important to me. What this means is that I will take the time, in the process of dating, to get to know someone better and if, mutually, there appears to be a strong potential for LTR, I will put in time and effort to nurture the relationship. It also means that as kids grow older and begin to be responsible and independent, the relationship will get increasingly more of that attention. There is no need for kids to be exposed into this dating scenario until much, much, much, much later time; most likely when they are out on their own.. :)

Courtesy appears to be a vanishing trait in people and society in general. My credibility, integrity, honesty and self-respect are very important to me, as the same should be to the person I choose to be with.
